Welcome to On Pit Row!

We don’t mean to turn you off from On Pit Row by immediately inundating you with legalese, but we need to make clear our respective rights and responsibilities related to our website(s) and service(s). So, On Pit Row offers our services (the “Services”) to you subject to the terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) contained herein.

By accessing any of our sites, or hosted sites, and in consideration for the Services we provide to you, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using any of our services.

1. Rights in the Content You Submit

Unless you specify otherwise, any and all works of authorship copyrightable by you and posted by you (“Content”) remain your intellectual propery. Under this license, any outside party may not copy, distribute, or display your content. They may, however cite your content for reference in their own works provided that a link to the location of the content is clearly provided, as well as citing the source of such content in an evident manner as to where it came from.

You also provide On Pit Row, its family of sites, as well as Thunder Lounge exclusive permission to use your comments within the scope of their operations with the provision that credit for said content shall be retained.

Those of us at On Pit Row believe deeply in free speech. Given our role in offering this service and our presence together as part of the extended NASCAR community, however, we must reserve the right to remove certain content that you may post. As a general matter, you may post content freely, so long as the content is not illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy or otherwise injurious or objectionable.

You may not use the On Pit Row name to endorse or promote any product, opinion, cause or political candidate. Representation of your personal opinions as institutionally endorsed by On Pit Row, or any of its sites or organizations, is strictly prohibited.

By posting content to any site, you warrant and represent that you either own or otherwise control all of the rights to that content, including, without limitation, all the rights necessary for you to provide, post, upload, input or submit the content, or that your use of the content is a protected fair use. RSS is a means by which On Pit Row, and its sites, offer feeds of story headlines in XML format to our visitors who use RSS aggregators. These Terms of Use govern your use of our RSS feeds, and are subject to change at any time. The use of our RSS service is also subject to the terms and conditions of On Pit Row, which governs the use of all On Pit Row websites, information, services and content. These Terms of Use and the be changed at any time, and without notice.

Our RSS feeds are a free service offered by On Pit Row for non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited. You must use the RSS feeds as provided by On Pit Row’s family of sites, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied therein.
