Heading for the (Irish) Hills
by Beth Anne Heisler, Special To On Pit Row
I am the field producer/photographer of the syndicated radio show/website ON PIT ROW. When Steve and Charlie ask me to 'jump', I say "Yeah right."

As Steve, Charlie and I prepare for our quest to MIS tommorrow and I was planning my picture taking agenda, I recalled some unforseeable events from last year that made the experience exceptional. My photo op with Richard Petty comes to mind (he wanted to be shot in profile), turning around to almost be run down by Mark Martin heading… somewhere…and who can forget Steve’s ‘Little Tiff’ with Jeff Gordon (I know he never will). Can’t wait to see what tommorrow will bring.

Hey guys, maybe I’ll run into you down there.
We (Jeni, the kids and I) will be there on Friday afternoon and night to see the ARCA race.
That is if it does not rain like it is foretasted to tomorrow. Not going to drag the kids around in the rain.
Hope you have fun.
Just got home from the rain out Mike. We did get some sweet pics of Ryan in the pit lane waiting to qualify.
RN Fan–
Hope you didn’t get too wet. Between trying to get with Elliott Sadler’s PR guy and running down ARCA’s Hoosier tire problem we got rather wet. I was looking forward to seeing the rest of Cup qualifying and the ARCA race. Conditions were perfect for some low times. This rain thing at MIS needs to run its course.
Oh–and it was a legit question–Jeff.
Hey guys. Yeah we got wet - a little.
We are heading back down to the track tomorrow morning to catch the ARCA race at 8:30. We got tickets–so why not. Plus T.J. (the 2+ year old) was really looking forward to it.
Plus we have to go back. We bought a Pit Road Pets book and got a ticket to have Ryan sign it tomorrow. So that will be cool to meet him for the first time. Jeni is REALLY excited about that.
And yes, Michigan needs to loose it’s fetish for rain!
After the ARCA race tomorrow it is ALL WORK as we are scrambling to get ready for our wedding next Saturday!
