On Pit Row Magazine Chase Special
Our newest issue of On Pit Row Magazine is now live on the iTunes App Store. This is a special issue, commemorating Kevin Harvick's championship run to the 2014 Sprint Cup championship.
This issue is our biggest effort so far. At over 115 pages, we chronicle more than Harvick's, ultimate victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway. We go in depth, with features on each of the drivers who comprised the Challenger 16.
Articles written by passionate NASCAR writers
I want to thank Bob Ellis, Bruce Simmons and Leon Hammack for the terrific contributions they made. These guys are fantastic writers. But they differ from the journalists who are paid to follow the NASCAR circus. They are passionate fans of the sport too. The features on each Chase contender and recaps of the ten individual races that made up the three playoff rounds and the big final Championship weekend tell a story about what was really a season within a season in NASCAR.
Exclusive NASCAR photography from The Chase
We have well over 100 photos - most shot by our own extremely dedicated photogs, Glenn Bure and Leon Hammack and our Art Director, BethAnne Heisler. We do have some pictures sourced from NASCAR Media and General Motors too. I have been a caddy for BethAnne at many race weekends. Race photographers walk miles, often in all kinds of (mostly hot) weather. It's a lot of work, but this issue showcases some of their best shots.
Race results and stats plus multi-media commentary
There's commentary and opinion too. On Pit Row fans know that we don't always - actually we seldom - agree on NASCAR happenings. There are five different videos featuring Editor-in-Chief, Dan Beaver, Steve Wronkowicz, Leon, BethAnne and me. Plus there are results from each of the Chase races, point standings and stats.
