The quarter-mile, D-shaped flat track at Richmond International Raceway hosts the final regular season race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. RIR is also important to fantasy owners since it concludes the summer segment for many games.

Chasing the pole at Richmond International Raceway
- Denny Hamlin… Qualified third in both Richmond starts last year.
- Jimmie Johnson… Started third in May, fourth last Sept.
- Martin Truex, Jr…. Started fourth and second last year at Richmond.
