- This Sunday NASCAR will run its 66th race at Pocono. 36 drivers have qualified on pole over that time and 28 different competitors have won races.
- The race has been won 13 times from the number one starting position. Tony Stewart was the last in June of 2009.
- Bill Elliott is the all-time wins and pole leader with five of each. Ken Schrader also has five poles.
- Mark Martin leads everyone, all-time, with 19 top fives and an amazing 32 top tens.
- Mark Martin has finished on the lead lap in 38 of the 47 races.
- Gordon is youngest Pocono winner. Gordon was only 24 years, 10 months and 12 days old when he won the June race in 1996.Harry Gant was 50 years, 5 months and 7 days young when he won in 1990.
- Ricky Rudd had more starts at Pocono than anyone with 55.
- Pocono is one of our Speedway type tracks in the On Pit Row stats. Often referred to as a RoVal, many folks think that Pocono is similar to the road courses, because of its three distinct turns.
